Are you satisfied with your given name? Why? If not, why not?
My 3 girls were named for specific reasons. Wrestley was named so because we wanted her to be able to conquer life’s difficulties (which, for sure, there will be) without just easily quitting. She’s living up to her name.
Myrrh Raquel was a miracle baby. She was 5 months in my womb when I was operated on. I had an ovarian cyst and my left ovary and tube were removed. The fetus, was successfully put back in place. The cyst ruptured and yet stayed in one place that the doctors were able to remove every bit. Before hubby signed the waiver, I was chosen to survive should there be a need to choose. She’s now 14 and have had so many miracles in her life.
Esther Grace was born during a time of financial crisis. She had the worst diet, and yet she came out without a trace of malnutrition. She was blessed despite what she physically went through. She found grace. We named her Esther, too, to be somehow like Queen Esther…wise. Her paternal grandmother is also named Ester so hubby thought it might be a good way to connect too. She seems to be queen-y to her older sisters instead so we’re watching over that.
She’s got wits too that surprises us all, rather regularly.
Be careful in naming your newborn. They might just live up to their names.

i was named andrea and for the longest time i hated it so much. its supposed to mean womanly and, well, it kinda felt sooooo old for me haha
but now i realize its such a pretty name
It’s cute and I’m sure you did not have a hard time writing when you started school.
Hi,

My mom told me I took my name from the Bible.
The only time I got to know the real meaning of it is when I join our local choir. My friends have a bible sharing and there then I knew what was the history of the name I am using.
I love my mom so much!
